World Music Celebration Kick Off, Thursday, March 6, 6:30-8:30pm
Come join U of I students and performers for a COMMUNITY ART & MUSIC EVENT. You are welcome to watch, listen, & participate along side students from Art + Design and the Lionel Hampton School of Music during this collaborative event. Artist will try their hand in drawing musicians in real time as we all gather to celebrate the energy and eclectic rhythms of the 2014 World Music Celebration happening through out this weekend. Various drawing materials will be available for the public to join in on collaborative drawings made throughout the evening-- All ages and experience welcome!
Artworks from ART122: Design II Students will also be on display.
